250ml fresh cream
How to make melon cream liqueur
Clean and cut into cubes half a melon, put it in a large glass jar and add half a vanilla pod, then pour the alcohol. Close the jar and shake. Let macerate for a week, reminding to shake the jar every day.
After a week you can prepare the melon cream. In a saucepan, pour the milk, the fresh cream, the sugar and bring it to the heat, stirring constantly until the sugar has melted. Turn off the heat and let it cool.
Take back the jar and remove the vanilla bean, with a blender mix the melon until it becomes completely liquid.
Pass the melon puree obtained through a strainer and add it to the saucepan. Stirring the mixture inside the strainer until remains only the dry pulp.
Then mix well the inside the saucepan and you are ready to bottle. With these ingredients you get about 1 liter of liqueur.
Place the bottles in the freezer for a few days and the melon cream is ready! Keep the liqueur always in the freezer until ready to serve.
